Not Goodbye but see ya later! |

Today is Friday, July 9th, 2010 and its been a little over a year since my brother left to be with the Lord. Although my pain still remains deeply penetrated in my heart, I came to an understanding that God always takes you out of a bad situation and puts you in an even better one...change is always hard & especially for those you love who are left with a tremendous void. My brother is definately in the win, I mean, wow, to be absent in the body is to the present with the Lord. I mean how better can it be....God promises that you will reunite again in Heaven but our biggest challenge is surviving the blows that life hands you until you get there. I've hurt so many people around because I was so stuck in my own grief but the Lord has restored my FAITH....and I want to be like my brother, passionate, a lover of life, and leave lasting impressions in the lives that cross my path! Veronica,
When I heard that your brother passed, I was speechless and my heart broke for you and your loss. I thought of my brother, Victor who lives so far away, whom I never talk to and how time can fly by in a blink of an eye. I thought of how young your Victor was when he left and how much of life he had yet to pursue especially with his children.
When you told me that Victor had recently accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour, I was relieved as I know the plan that God has for us is to prosper us. I know that God was paving the way for Victor to go home. Although it hurts us who are left here. Just knowing that he is in heaven should bring peace and comfort.
My prayers are with you and your family.
